This live model study had a painting duration of about 2 1/2 hours.  I used a viridian green plus a little yellow ochre to do the shadow side of the figure in what I believe is a warm green color.  I then used the same viridian and quinacridone red plus a little cad red scarlet and cad yellow lemon and white to make the light side of the skin tones cool.  This is keeping with the warm/ cool or cool /warm variation between the shadow side and the light side of the figure.  In this case cool on the light side.  One of my prior studies called "Washer Woman" is the opposite of this in that it is cool in the shadow side and warm in the light side.  Warm light side colors would be cad red light or scarlet, cad yellow light or cad lemon, and a touch of yellow ochre and white.  In the forehead area I would suggest more cad lemon and less cad yellow light, the checks more cad red and cad yellow light and in the lower face a little viridian or cerulean blue to darken the skin tone of the cheeks.
